Prolis at COLA's Laboratory Enrichment Forum 2022

Prolis attended COLA’s first ever laboratory enrichment forum this year in Charlotte, North Carolina, on may 5th-6th. We had the honor of sponsoring the Keynote talk with Dr. Adams on the importance of the clinical laboratory in future disaster preparedness and planning.

Jerome Adams, MD, MPH
20th Surgeon General of the United States

Dr. Adams served as the 20th U.S. Surgeon General, only the second-ever African American male in that role, oversaw one of the most significant public health crises, and served on the federal government’s COVID-19 task force.

Dr. Adams is a fellow of the American Society of Anesthesiologists. Dr. Adams received his Master’s Degree in Public Health two decades ago at the University of California at Berkeley, focusing on chronic disease prevention. He worked in local public health at The City of Berkeley’s health department and State public health, where he ran the Indiana State Department of Health during the Ebola, Zika, and HIV crises.
